About the movie
Ciro, Ettore and Marco, three friends desperate to be accepted by the mob, decide to carry out a robbery at a local pizzeria in order to attract the attention of Don Armando, a local mafia boss who is feared and respected in equal measure. Daddone, meanwhile, is an unemployed mafia racketeer who, in a bid to revamp his career, resolves to join a gang of “scissionisti” (splinters) and become their leader. Mario, a misguided opportunist, is on the hunt for new landfills and open spaces in Naples to dump toxic waste, but it's not quite the foolproof plan that he had in mind. Elsewhere, the ambivalent Franco is running from something that he can no longer make sense of, while Pasquale, a disgruntled unpaid factory worker, is determined to sell himself to the Chinese competition. Don Raffaele is equipped with an equally nonconformist agenda; the mob’s answer to Robin Hood, he dutifully brings in money for low-wage victims in Camorra. Rounding things out is The Fugitive, the all-powerful boss of bosses who, newly dumped by his lover, is no longer capable of leading his family.
